Goat Cheese & Fruit Crostini

Crunchy toast, the creamy tang of goat cheese, a bright sweetness from your fruit & honey, and a spinkle of salt to balance it all together. The perfect appitiezer to make/take to all of your events and it can be thrown together in just a few minutes!

I N G R E D I E N T S

  • French baguette (I like this one becuase it is crusty, but basically any of your favorite fresh bread would work with this)

  • Goat cheese (swap it out for vegan goat cheese if you’d like!)

  • Salt (flaky salt is the best, but any sea salt or kosher salt will work too)

  • Olive oil (I perfer olive oil for the taste, but you can replace this with the oil of your choice)

Peach topping

  • Sliced peaches (about 1/4 inch thick depending on how you like it)

  • Honey for drizzle

Pomegranate topping

  • Pomegranate seeds

  • Orange zest

I N S T R U C T I O N S

  • Preheat oven to broil on medium-high

  • Slice your bread on a bias and drizzle with olive oil

  • Toast our bread for just a few minutes until golden brown and crunchy

  • Spread your goat cheese over the toast to coat

Peach topping

  • Slice and place your peach on top of your goat cheese

  • Drizzle the top with honey

  • Sprinkle with a small pinch of flaky sea salt

Pomegranate topping

  • Add a spoonful of pomegranate seeds to the top of your goat cheese

  • Zest your orange over your crostini to evenly spread the zest to all peices of toast

  • Sprinkle with a small pinch of flaky sea salt

  • Nectarine & honey

  • Orange & mint

  • Pear & honey

  • Plum & honey

  • Strawberry, basil & balsamic

  • Blackberry & mint

Other good additions to these crustinis might be some complementary nuts or seeds, especially pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sliced almonds.
